March 18th - Tires (combo class) $33
This class will be a combination of class presentation and hands on learning, please refer to our combo class section here. No previous knowledge is necessary! Come learn how to lift your vehicle and change out your spare safely. Learn about tire tread depth, and proper inflation. Be prepared for roadside tire changes. In honor of Womans history month, breaking down gender norms, and dismantling the patriarchy, this class is free for all woman.
March 28th - Cars 101 (presentation) $33
Come learn about your car! No experience necessary, a brief introduction to all the major vehicle systems and more! In honor of Woman’s history month, breaking down gender norms, and dismantling the patriarchy, this class is free for all woman.
April 1st - No Class
April 8th - Brakes (Presentation) $33
This brakes class will focus on the different components of common braking systems. In addition we will be doing a full brake inspection on a 2023 Kia Soul. April is Arabic Heritage month, all classes during April will be free for you if you have Arabic heritage.
April 15th - Diag. Days (combo class) $33
Bring your car, bring a friend! A good day to ask questions or learn about whatever you choose. Get an issue diagnosed or have specific work done. If you’d like repairs done to the vehicle PLEASE EMAIL US AHEAD OF TIME. Inspection or repairs of vehicles is first come first serve based on the emails. Check out class content for more info. April 22nd - Suspension (Hands on) $33
For this suspension class we will be replacing the strut assemblies on a 2010 Toyota Prius. If you’d like to learn safe practices for this repair or other suspension repairs, come to class! April is Arabic Heritage month, all classes during April will be free for you if you have Arabic heritage.
April 29th - No Class
May 6th - Cooling systems (Hands-on) $33
For this class we will be repairing a thermostat on a 2012 Chevy Sonic. Before repairs, we’ll be discussing diagnosis and afterwards discussing how to confirm the repairs have corrected the overheating issue. Whether use your vehicle to get to Pridefest or other protests that recognize intersectionality, its important you get there and back safely. Come learn about your car to ensure that.
